Todd Pynch founded Crisis Chaplaincy Services on January 7, 2003. Prior to that, Todd served as the Pastor of a church in Corvallis, OR for 13 years. His total pastoral experience spans 17 years serving churches here in Oregon and in Washington.
Todd’s law enforcement experience includes serving with the Stayton Police Department, the Oregon State Police, and with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
In 1992 Todd approached the Sheriff of Benton County in Corvallis, OR and asked him if he was interested in having a chaplain for his department. That conversation began a career serving as a chaplain that has now spanned nearly 14 years. Todd has responded to all kinds of tragedy in his career. Just one week after the attack of 9/11, Todd responded to Ground Zero where he served for a total of three weeks. Throughout his time as a Chaplain he has counseled hundreds of officers and firefighters, always trying to offer hope, encouragement and help.
Todd has been married to his wife, Martha, for 23 years and they have two children, Cari & Andrew. The family currently lives in Aumsville, OR.

We serve all the dispatch centers in these Counties as well and we work with multiple fire departments/districts in all three Counties. We will respond to any agency that requests our services.
How Are We Financially Supported?
Our funding comes from three primary sources. We have service contracts with several of the agencies we serve and a portion of our funding comes from them.
